Challenge

Developing a high-performance, efficient and scalable matchmaking platform for sports sponsorship.

Approach

In order to validate the first product assumptions, the platform was developed on Symfony and professionalized as part of a completely in-house development. In cooperation with IBM, the platform was migrated on a Kubernetes cluster within the IBM cloud. This enables Sponsoo to guarantee a high-performance and stable platform environment for around 4 million members.

Solution

The entire project was planned on the PHP Symfony framework from the very beginning and has since benefited from the power and flexibility of this technology. The platform is regularly updated in the course of product developments and offers users new features and functions that are always in line with the latest technologies.
